Technological Innovation
In 2007, Ausonia inaugurated the new production plant in Via del Fontino, Santa Croce sull’Arno, in the heart of the Tuscan tanning district. It extends to an area of 13 thousand square meters and treats around one million feet of vegetable tanned hides each month for making bags, luggage, belts, small leather accessories and furnishings.

The Drums department is completely innovative, made from plastic material and positioned on a platform that offers greater safety and facilitates the loading and unloading of the barrels. The management of the department is completely automatic (automated) thus allowing the necessary controls to be made in each phase of the production process.
